Recently built, the Cottages of Relais Ciavatta are designed in Bio-Architecture, in order to meet the current standards of sustainable tourism in terms of respect for the environment.
Surrounded by the Mediterranean forest, they will give you a warm welcome through a strong contact with the nature of Maremma, among the flavours, the sounds and the colours of the wood.
They consist of a living room, two double bedrooms (the second of which can be, on demand, with separate beds), marble bathroom with a big shower, veranda, garden and parking area.
The essential and natural architecture and furnishings, without renuncing comforts: memory form mattress, 22" LED TV, hairdryer, fridge, heating and warm it up.
Bed linen, towels and cleaning with weekly linen change are included.
Through a pedestrian path of just 80 metres, it is possible to reach the Relais and its services, such as swimming pool in the summer season, as well as the Osteria La Frasca restaurant inside the ancient farmhouse of the 1300s

The term “Ciavatta” was derived from the word “Civetta”, which means a particular breed of owl living on our giant oaks. If you will be lucky you will be also able to see barn owls, deers, turtles and porcupines!
Relais Ciavatta is conveniently situated, only 3,5km far from Saturnia Hotsprings, with which we have a convention.
The property is spread over 15 hectares and comprises the Hotel, the Cottages the restaurant Osteria la Frasca specialities of the cuisine of maremma, utilizing fresh and biological ingredients, some of which are produced in our agricultural firm itself.
We provide our swimming pool with parasols and sunloungers for our customers in the middle of the fresh park where they will be overwhelmed by the sounds of the nature.
